SAFE sponsored its second survey of students in Chesterfield County in November 2007. The first survey was administered in 2005. The survey was administered to randomly selected classrroms in all Chesterfield public schools in grades 8, 10 and 12. A total of 4,025 students participated.

Participation in the survey was voluntary and confidential. The survey was developed and results reported by Bach Harrison, L.L.C., a company which provides survey research and evaluation services.
